10 Years Later

It’s been 10 years since I started blogging here on WordPress! I don’t have time to write a reflective post about the journey right now, as it’s finally a sunny evening, and I need to do some garden maintenance, but I wanted to make a quick post to mark the occasion.

I’m never sure how easy it is to navigate my blog if you’re not me (hah), so here is a link to my first post, groundbreakingly titled “The first post.” Ah, so much potential there.

While I may not have achieved fame and fortune from my blog, I have connected with some amazing people who’ve reached out to me after finding it. I hope I’ve touched even more people than that, as I know I’ve read or watched things online that have made an impression on me, but it’s not like I wrote to the creator and told them.

For my own journey of self-discovery and healing, the blog has been an amazing tool. Sometimes, I look back at my earlier posts and think, wow, I haven’t even thought about that incident or those feelings in years. Something that used to hold me back or make me feel a certain way doesn’t even cross my mind anymore.

Well, my garden is calling, and I must go. Thank YOU for reading, whether you’ve been here all along or you’re just getting started. I’m always grateful to hear from you. 💙

  1. Hey! 10 years, eh?
I was perusing your blogs over the decade. Two things: you’ve a great writing style, and (2) it made me feel guilty about not doing the same. At 59 I should have a few stories and profound thoughts. Laziness and procrastination must be in my gene pool.

    Hugs, as always.
    Your Uncle Brian

    1. Yep! Time flies! I’ve actually blogged since the early 2000’s but this was the first one I did with a public audience in mind.

It’s not too late, I would love to read your blog if you made one! DO IT!

      ❤️
